Versatile herbal mixture for salad dressings, dips and marinades.
Salad sauce: mix Virginia steak herbs with pepper, salt, vinegar or lemon juice.
Yogurt Dip: Mix 3.5% fat yogurt with salt, pepper and Virginia steak herbs.
Marinade for tender steaks: Make the yoghurt dip as above, add a little more salt, put the steak into the dip for 24 hours. Roughly spread the marinade, fry or grill the steak. Lactic acid makes the steak tender.
Herbal oil marinade: like the salad dressing, only prepare with more oil and marinate the steak in it.
Ingredients: bell pepper, pepper, onion, parsley leaves, caraway, coriander, oregano, mustard seeds.
Note for allergy sufferers: Contains mustard.
Store cool, dry, dark and airtight. Always remove in portions with a clean spoon.
