White Tea

White Tea

White tea owes its name to the fine, white, shimmering fluff with which the leaves of this tea plants are covered.
White tea is rarer than green tea and a real specialty among tea connoisseurs.
Similar to green tea, the fermentation process is ended very early with white tea, or does not take place at all.
Therefore, it is floral and mild in taste and can be poured on several times. White tea, like green tea, also contains caffeine and tannins. Therefore, it should not be left to infuse too long, otherwise it can become bitter.
